Paper discusses the effects that wolf reintroduction could have on grizzly bears. Studies have shown that grizzly bears may benefit from the reintroduction of wolves. Several observations been made of grizzly bears displacing wolves from carcasses , indicating that bears benefit from the wolf's hunting skills. In general, wolves may benefit grizzly bears by providing more ungulate carcasses (carrion) during a larger portion of the year, and bears might also be able to usurp from wolves many of the carcasses they find, providing a more stable source of useful nutrients for the bears, especially from July to October.
