Shari Sutherland

Director of Individual Giving since 2005

Shari received a B.A. Degree in Geography from Middlebury College. Shari has 17 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, and served as the Membership Director for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition for 11 years. Shari enjoys nothing more than being out hiking with her faithful Labrador and friends, hoping to see (from a distance!) one of the wild creatures we are working to protect!



David Gaillard
Interim Executive Director, 2005

With Predator Conservation Alliance since 1997

David received a BA in English from Williams College in 1989. He received his Masters degree in Environmental Studies from the Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in 1997. David worked for the Wild Forever Grizzly Bear Project from 1991 through 1994, and spent Summer, 1996 conducting an independent research project on the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative through the Jackson, Wyoming-based Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative.


Kate Hallowell

Adminstrative Assistant since 2004

Kate moved to Bozeman from Seattle in spring 2004, and began working at Predator Conservation Alliance shortly thereafter. Kate received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Colorado State University and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Florida. In her free time Kate enjoys hiking, wildlife spotting, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.


Janelle Holden
Coexistence Program Director since 2003

Janelle joined PCA's staff in April 2003. Janelle holds a BA from Hillsdale College and has served as an aide to two U.S. Senators. Originally from Havre, Montana, Janelle has also been a reporter for two Colorado newspapers, and campaign manager for a county commissioner campaign.


Shannon Roberts
Executive Assistant
since 2001

Shannon brings a variety of professional and administrative experiences to Predator Conservation Alliance, most recently as Director/Fiscal Manager for an adventure tourism company. Prior to that she worked in insurance and travel sales for AAA Montana.

Shannon also has experience on non-profit boards and is the granddaughter, daughter and sister of U.S. Forest Service engineers on the Gallatin National Forest.



Jon Schwedler
Communications
Director since 2002

Jon has a BA in archaeology from St. Mary’s College, and is halfway through a Master’s degree in planning. Previous to joining Predator Conservation Alliance in 2002, Jon spent four years working in communications and media relations for The Nature Conservancy. Jon enjoys all of the fantastic outdoor activities the West has to offer-- hiking, backpacking, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, snow-shoeing, wildlife-watching, and walking his dog in the dead of winter!


Crystal Stanionis

Interim Outreach/Education Coordinator since 2004

Crystal Stanionis is Predator Conservation Alliance's Interim Outreach and Education Coordinator. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Crystal attended Penn State University, where she earned a B.S. in Geography, a B.A. in Journalism, and a minor in sociology. In 2000 she moved to Bozeman, Montana, and graduated in 2003 from Montana State University with a M.S. in Earth Sciences—Geography. Crystal is excited about establishing a permanent outreach and education program at Predator Conservation Alliance.
